Ted Petit spent 25 years as a software engineer in the aerospace industry specializing in developing low observable (i.e., infrared / radar) simulation models for the military flight training industry. During this time he began studying, training with and using photography to document his work for technical analysis.

For the last 10 years Ted has concentrated on western event photography primarily cutting horse shows. Currently Ted is an NCHA photographer (and videographer) and has had his work displayed within numerous national magazines and various television shows.

Ted is a member of the National Cutting Horse Association and Pacific Coast Cutting Horse Association.

Even though Ted's schedule keeps him busy he is always developing another aspect of his photography discipline, landscape and nature photography.
